Hello
Since CompuTalk is becoming bigger in all terms (members, posts, bandwidth, server resources) every day I have been upgrading all the behind-the-scenes parts.
We recently got upgraded from our 384Mb RAM VPS to a 512Mb RAM VPS because we were often using all the RAM causing database errors and general slowness.
This has sorted it out, but we are currently using an average of 489Mb RAM (over the last week or so), so pretty soon the 512Mb wont be enough.
Currently I pay $59/month for the 512Mb VPS from www.wiredtree.com
The next step will either be the 768Mb VPS for $77/month, or a Hybrid server with 1024Mb RAM and a guarenteed processor core, but for $99/month.
Right now I don't know which of these we will go with. It really depends on which one is afforable when we upgrade.
